Judo basic courses in Vantaan Jukara

You can start practicing judo in Vantaan Jukara by taking the basic course that is arranged twice a year, beginning in January and in August.

The basic course is given both in the spring and in the fall, separately for kids (age 7-13) and for adults (age 14 and above). Kids basic course lasts one year and adults course half a year. In Vantaan Jukara we have also “Muksujudo” which is preliminary judo training for small kids (age 5-6).

The classes for the course take place twice each week (except “muksujudo” once a week):

”Muksujudo” at Sundays, kids at Fridays and Sundays and adults at Fridays and Sundays (Rajatorpan kalliosuoja, Rajatorpantie 27).

There is preregistration for the courses: https://jukara.fi/judo/ilmoittaudu/

You can start the basic course wearing, for example, a T-shirt and sweatpants. A Judo uniform is mandatory after you have decided to take the full course. No shoes are needed, as we practice barefeet. It is advisable to bring along a water bottle, a towel, shower gear and, for example, flip flops to walk from the dressing room to the tatami area.

The first three classes of the basic course are free of charge. Please join us and “know yourself – find your strength”
