Our dojo is located in Rajatorppa, Vantaa, only 10 km from both Helsinki city center and Helsinki airport.
Address: Rajatorpantie 25
By public transport: The closest train station is Myyrmäki; the dojo is ~10 min walk from there. Also several bus lines pass near the dojo. See HSL time table for more information.
By car: These is some parking space in front of the dojo. If full, parking is also possible at the nearby Energia Areena sports complex.
The dojo is located underground in a cold war era nuclear bomb shelter. Front door is kept locked; please arrive in time so that someone can let you in, or contact us beforehand to get a PIN code that opens the door.

Beginners classes are for people new to aikido and children.
Basic aikido classes are suitable for all practitioners with basic ukemi skills from 6. kyu onwards. Focus is in kata (form) of the techniques.
Advanced classes focus more on ”aikido internals” and typically have faster pace than other classes. No grade requirements, but participants are expected to be familiar with basic techniques and attack forms and to know how to do ukemi also in faster situations.
We arrange several aikido seminars every year. Some of the internationally known instructors who have visited us regularly include Franck Noël (7th dan), Takeshi Yamashima (8th dan), Hiroshi Ikeda (7th dan), Kaname Ariga (6th dan) and Gaston Nicolessi (6th dan).
